RENOVATION PROJECT IN HEILOO

The Heiloo project involved modernizing a 135m2 detached house from
1965, adapting it for a three-person family seeking a modern lifestyle
away from the city.
Initially, the work plan was to include only the replacement of electrical
installations and heating with underfloor heating, as well as renovating
the interior and a new kitchen. However, we also proposed many
improvements in the functional layout of the entire house thanks to a
small extension towards the garden. The house gained an additional
12m2, separated by a glass movable wall from the garden. In this part of
the house, I designed a kitchen with a kitchen island facing the garden
and a table at the interior’s junction with the external terrace. We made
custom-made furniture for the kitchen and the new laundry room. We
renovated the stairs, which gained a very modern look and installed
linear lighting, which can move the spotlights and adjust the intensity of
the dimmer. Hidden behind the stairs is the door to the old kitchen,
which we adapted into a guest room with a private bathroom. The old
toilet was renovated. The large living room was opened towards the
kitchen by widening the entrance and installing glass doors in steel
frames.
The first floor also received a new arrangement. In the middle part, the
roof slopes were changed by building a dormer. Thanks to this, we built a
new bathroom with a bathtub, shower and toilet in this part. Naturally,
the two large bedrooms gained a new look. Of course, the attic was
insulated, and all the windows were renovated.
If you think that the renovation of your house requires a similar scope of
work, do not hesitate to ask about the cost of this project.
